How do I stay motivated to exercise?

I get this question quite a bit so I thought I'd address it in a post. Looking back, I guess you could say that I've always been concerned about my weight. Over the years I've tried so many different crazy diets and diet pills. None of which really worked for me in the long term until I started incorporating exercise. Thinking back, I really started exercising after getting out of a bad relationship over 10 years ago. At the time, I did this so I would feel better about myself...and it worked.


Fast forward a few more years and a baby later, getting to the gym and exercising in general was not on the daily to do list. As most new moms, I was focused on parenting. After baby #2, I put on more weight and really wasn't comfortable in my own skin. Thats when I committed to doing something for myself...getting back in shape. I knew I could carve out at least 30-45 min a day to fit in some exercise using DVD's at home...something that had worked for me in the past. So I dusted off my Power 90 program and committed to the 90 days.  I turned to other people who were doing the same or similar workouts via online message boards to stay motivated. I've starting a message board thread over on my meetup group for this very purpose.

So my one piece of advice...find someone to help keep you accountable and you will succeed!!!
