YIKES!!! My 20 year High School reunion is 54 days away...and its time to buckle down and really watch my diet. Over the last 8+ years that I've been working out at home, doing the workouts has always been the easy part for me. My challenge has been sticking to super clean eating...which basically means, no JUNK.
..aka, processed foods, white bread products, sugary treats (oh ice cream, I will miss you during the next 54 days) and all those other Tier 4 and 5 foods from Michi's ladder! (I'll post what that means later) My diet is by no means horrible, but its those occasional bites of the kids PB&J's, handfuls of goldfish crackers, cheat meals that turn into complete cheat days/weekends etc. that has been keeping me from seeing progress. I've been able to maintain the results I got back in 2008 but its time to kick it up a notch!!
So to keep myself accountable, I'm going to be posting my food journal for each day. While I may not get to the blog every day to type it, I will be writing it down and will post accordingly. I don't have a huge weight loss goal to reach, but its more of a fat loss thing and gaining true definition in my muscles. I'll be seeking out a Bod Pod (like they use on the Biggest Loser) to get my body composition/body fat percentage done and have an accurate reading of my progress!!!
With that...its time for my afternoon snack!
Today's SUCCESS MOMENT: Went to a moms club luncheon this morning and refrained from subs on white bread, ice cream sandwiches and just had some fruit!! Good thing I drank my Chocolate Shakeology with peanut butter right before I got there!!
